On the Stakes
Cross-Campus Initiative
On the Stakes is a collaborative initiative designed to help students and community members understand the current political moment in America. Through 'What's at Stake' community forums we are using our academic expertise to foster dialogue and education on understanding current events and the stakes for American democracy. Our goal is to create nonpartisan spaces where participants can learn, ask questions, and engage with diverse perspectives.

Constitution Day
Wednesday September 17th
We have chosen September 17, 2025 as our launch date because it is the anniversary of the signing of the US Constitution in 1787 (Constitution Day). To celebrate and honor this day participating campuses will be discussing how the US Constitution is holding up at this historical moment.
